Board of Directors

DIRECTORS

 

 Edward J. Sowa, Chairman of the Board

 

Prior to Santé, Mr. Sowa was a Director of Axis Trading Corporation, an equity-trading firm in Dallas. Before Axis, Mr. Sowa was co-founder of Federal Aviation Services Corporation and served as its President. The company provided management and marketing services to the aviation industry. Earlier, he was General Manager of the SimuFlite division of The Singer Company, a $200 million high-technology start-up company. Mr. Sowa has held numerous management positions, including 18 years at IBM Corporation providing worldwide in-house aviation transportation, and as Vice President of Business Development with Mrs. Paul’s Kitchen. He started Information Management Company and Polaris Systems, which later sold to Lockheed Corporation.

 

Neil E. Casey, President and Chief Executive Officer

    Prior to Santé, Mr. Casey was a founder and Chairman of Axis Trading Corporation, an equity-trading firm in Dallas. Before Axis Trading, he led a performance management consulting organization focusing on productivity and profit management. Earlier, he was President/CEO of SimuFlite Training International, a leading aviation training services company. Mr. Casey also has held many management positions in marketing, sales, services and operations during his 15 years with American Airlines. Mr. Casey earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of Rhode Island and an MBA from Southern Methodist University.

 

MANAGEMENT

 

Tracey Nixon, Vice President  and Chief Operating Officer

   

Ms. Nixon joined Santé in 2004. She is responsible for clinic operations, maintaining superior patient outcomes, program development, and staff development and retention. Ms. Nixon has eleven years of progressively responsible management experience in outpatient and inpatient rehabilitation settings. She is well-versed in all aspects of new program development and will be the driving force behind future offerings. Most recently, she was National Director of Clinical Operations at HealthSouth. Ms. Nixon earned her Masters and Bachelor of Science in Speech Language Pathology from Texas Christian University.

 

Amy Rentfrow, Director of Pediatric Services

   

 

 

 

Ms. Rentfrow joined Santé in 2004. She is responsible for the company’s pediatric clinical operations serving the greater Dallas, Fort Worth, San Antonio and El Paso markets. Ms. Rentfrow has a proven track record of successful pediatric start-ups in multiple markets and quality operations. She will oversee the company’s standardization of pediatric operations. Prior to joining Santé, she was Director of Rehabilitation Services for Pathway Health Services’ Dallas and Fort Worth offices. Ms. Rentfrow earned her Masters of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Baylor University and her Bachelor of Arts in Speech Language Pathology from Butler University.
 

Terri Bateman, Director of Business Office Services

    Ms. Bateman joined Santé in 2003. She is responsible for the company’s intake department, facility license, credentialing, managed care contracting and a recent promotion to include billing revenue for the company. She as 14+ years of healthcare experience in the imaging field and prior to joining Santé she was Director of Administrative Operations with Radiology Associates of Tarrant County. She was responsible for creating a centralized scheduling department for multi-modality locations with success in decrease of wait times and increase of patient visits in scheduling for the clinics.
 

Connie C. Sowa, Director of Human Resources

    Connie C. Sowa joined Santé in May 2006 as the Director of Human Resources. Connie brings 20 years of corporate business experience in marketing, administration and human resources. She has worked for Fortune 500 companies such as The William Morris Agency, Hill and Knowlton Public Relations, Inc., Coopers & Lybrand, LLP and PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP. Her most recent challenge was transitioning executive support administration through the merger of Coopers & Lybrand and Price Waterhouse in 2000 for the Seattle office. She holds dual Bachelor degrees in music and psychology. She is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management including the local Dallas chapter Executive Management Association (EMA).
 

Jacqueline Goss, Controller

    Ms. Goss joined Santé in March 2006. She is responsible for the company’s accounting services. Her experience spans several industries such as oil and gas, banking, retail and recently, 5 years specific to the healthcare industry. Ms. Goss earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of New Orleans.
